Bryn Hazard
Bryn is a curious and scientifically minded analyst with an inclination for all things credit and data.
Bryn is an expert in receivables management, having honed his skills as head of analytics at one of Canada’s largest collection agencies before joining Wealthsimple, where he built out the company's receivables operations and developed a more efficient fraud resolutions process. Just prior to joining Payson, Bryn was an analytics lead at Enercare, helping migrate over 1.4 million customers to a new billing system, leading securitization reporting, dialer operations, delinquency forecasting and operations analysis.
Bryn believes that a data driven approach to credit and collections leads to a more empathetic and understanding relationship between lenders and customers.
In his spare time, Bryn has a passion for all things green, volunteering with the City of Toronto planting trees and picking weeds in the city’s many ravines. He is also an avid reader of detective fiction and plays for his local Rugby team. Bryn lives downtown by the lake with his wife and two cats.
