Aaron Murray
Aaron has a passion for financial products and has experience working for both large banks and startups. He started his career working for Capital One in Credit Analytics, and later transitioned to product management.
At Capital One, Aaron built Quick Check, which allowed customers to confirm their eligibility before applying. Capital One Canada now acquires the majority of their customers with Quick Check, which has improved the customer experience and conversion. At a legal lending startup, Aaron helped raise equity and negotiate the terms for debt financing for their lending product. Aaron also spent 3 years working at a trucking SaaS scaleup where he defined the strategy for embedded payments and finance products, launching their first payments product and scaling its adoption and operations.
Outside of work, Aaron is a passionate guitarist, home chef, and rock climber. You’ll find him hosting a dinner party, dangling off a cliff by his fingertips, or trying his best to sing along with his favourite songs. He lives in Toronto with his girlfriend and their dog. She is also a passionate climber, chef, and thankfully a better singer!
